How is the cost of a project determined?
There is no fixed price because every family-history project is unique. The final cost depends on the nature of the work involved, the amount of research and writing required, and the complexity or difficulty of uncovering the necessary information. Our fees are generally determined by how many generations back you would like us to investigate. Following a free initial consultation, we can provide you with a more specific estimate based on your individual project.
How much time should I expect the project to take?
The timeframe varies depending on the depth and scope of the work. A relatively focused project may be completed within one or two weeks. More detailed research and writing assignments typically require approximately one to two months. Projects covering every branch of a family and requiring extensive research can take around six months from beginning to completion.
How long does it take?
Smaller projects take a couple of weeks; detailed family histories can take several months.
